Bruce is the founder and President of BDR Design Group.  Under his guidance, we’ve earned a reputation for unique creative, coupled with a thorough understanding of park operations and business issues. 

Bruce continues to challenge himself and the team to create more innovative and successful projects by continually asking, “How simply can we achieve amazing?”

With over 30 years of experience in entertainment design, from concept development to capital expansion, Bruce has built an incredible team that have proven to be masters at designing location-based entertainment by providing creative yet practical design solutions that translate into strong financial results for the owners. 

Bruce holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters in Architecture from UCLA. He began his career in the leisure and entertainment business at Kings Productions, and by the age of 30 was promoted to Director of Design. It was at Kings Productions that Bruce realized that the entertainment aspect of the industry added an exciting theatrical dimension to architectural design not typically present. In 1983, in order to provide his clients personal attention, Bruce launched his own firm. Today, more than 30 years later, Bruce continues to lead his team in transforming vision into exciting reality.
