Committed to renovating the park to deliver a more contemporary themed guest experience, Särkänniemi Adventure Park asked BDR Design Group to produce an overall master plan for the future of their park. The team followed with Capital Expansion Programs, which resulted in the world’s first Angry Birds Land, followed by Doghill Storybook Land, which brings the series of books by the famous Finnish children’s author, Mauri Kunnas, to life. For their 50th Anniversary, we followed up with Boomville, a comic-book inspired urban backdrop for their new drop tower.
