Barnstormer at Dollywood
This attraction delivers fun for everyone! It includes a Barnstormer family thrill ride and an interactive children’s play area in a rustic barnyard area, energized by the festive theme of early Barnstormer events.

Stefanie Hawk is Promoted to Senior Designer / Project Director
Congratulations to Stefanie Hawk on her recent promotion to Senior Designer / Project Director. Stefanie first joined BDR Design Group in 2002 as a student intern, and has played a significant role in the growth of the company. Her background in both architecture and interior design has enabled her to contribute to our success on a wide variety of park and entertainment projects. Her personal passion for rides, attractions, and themed experi- ences, as well as her strong programming and planning skills have inspired many of our ideas and made her a strong asset to our projects and our clients.
A New Generation of Thematic Experience is Born at Särkänniemi Adventure Park - Tampere, Finland
Committed to renovating the park to deliver a more contemporary themed guest experience, Särkänniemi asked BDR Design Group to help lead their design efforts. After completing a Guest Experience Master Plan for the Park, the partnership has begun the process of guiding the design of their Capital Expansion Program for 2012 and beyond. An Exciting New Inversive Ride Experience Comes to Six Flags New England
BDR Design Group was challenged by Six Flags to add a new Giant Inverted Boomerang Coaster, and to help renovate our original Crack Axle Canyon design to bring new energy and excitement to the rustic western themed area. The coaster, aptly named “Goliath”, is an exhilarating thrill ride that reaches nearly 20 stories high, sending riders on a free-fall that is certain to make thrill seekers take notice!
